Christmas is coming!

Christmas is my absolute favourite holiday! I like seeing the beautiful Christmas decorations at the malls; I love listening to Christmas songs playing on the radio; I enjoy spending time with family members and friends I haven't seen in months. Most of all, I love that this season is one where I can prepare myself for the coming of Christ in my heart.

Oftentimes, if I am not thinking of work, I am procrastinating and looking at websites. I barely really leave any time for my spiritual development. And also, I make excuses for not getting done what I know needs to get done to move forward in my life. I have plenty of time, but no discipline. And then I squander my time on reading motivational quotations instead of doing something motivational.

I do pray for my family members and friends, I do pray for my students. But I should learn to pray for myself so that I do accomplish the things that I want to accomplish. Now, I am preparing for Jesus' coming with hope and love and keeping that hope and love alive for my other endeavours.
